Pokemon Origami

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of the Pokemon videogames and there just so happens to be some incredibly awesome Pokemon origami on the Internet.

A few of these models even have crease patterns or videos showing how to fold them.

We’ll start off with some models from a website called Calico’s Origami Aquarium which I think has the best Pokemon origami models that I’ve ever seen.

#016 Pidgey

Origami Pidgey

You can find the original image here, along with a couple more pictures from different angles and a crease pattern.

#019 Ratatta

Origami Ratatta

#032 Nidoran Male

Origami Nidoran

#080 Slowbro

Origami Slowbro

I really like how the shell looks on this origami Slowbro.  You can find the original image here along with some more pictures, one that really shows off that shell and a crease pattern.

#120 Staryu

Origami Staryu

I think it’s a really awesome idea to use an origami kusudama to make a Staryu.  You can see the original image here.

#121 Starmie

Origami Starmie

It’s really just another origami kusudama but the colours that are used are what makes this work so well.  You can find the original image here.

#145 Zapdos

Origami Zapdos

This origami Zapdos is absolutely perfect.  You can find the original image here.

#146 Moltres

Origami Moltres

You can find the original image plus a few more here.

#150 Mewtwo

Origami Mewtwo

I’ve seen a couple of different origami Mewtwos on the Internet but this one is definitely the best.  You can find the original image along with a few more here.

#201 Unown

Origami Unown

They’ve gone and folded a bunch of origami Unown including an R, W, K, G, Y, P and Z.  You can find the original image here.

#310 Manectric

Origami Manectric

You can find the original image here.

#492 Shaymin Land Form

Origami Shaymin Land Form

This is definitely one of the cuter origami Pokemon models I’ve seen.  You can find the original image here.

#492 Shaymin Sky Form

Origami Shaymin Sky Form

Another expertly designed origami Pokemon model.  You can find the original image here.

#495 Snivy

Origami Snivy

Definitely the best one of the Black and White starter Pokemon.  You can find the original image along with a crease pattern here.

#498 Tepig

Origami Tepig

You can find the original image plus a crease pattern here.

There’s also a post on the Origami Forum about origami Pokemon.  You’ll find images of more origami Pokemon, some crease patterns and more information.

It’s also worth checking out the YouTube channel of a user named Axojisan.  You’ll find some videos showing you how to fold an origami Dialga, Palkia and some other stuff.

Here’s an image of his origami Dialga (Pokedex entry #483) folded by myself.  It’s actually not that hard to fold and it looks great.

If you know of some good origami Pokemon share the links in the comments.
